This annual report compares and assesses the performance of national health care systems in 35 countries, across 48 indicators which cover patient rights, access to care, treatment outcomes, prevention and range of services. This year's report finds that whilst health care across Europe is steadily improving, greater strides could be made by copying the most successful health systems in order to use resources more efficiently and improve patient outcomes.
