A public consultation on revised guidance on eligibility for social care closed on 6 October 2009. This report is a summary of the consultation responses. The revised guidance will replace the 2003 Fair Access to Care Services guidance and aims to support fair and transparent implementation of eligibility criteria, within the new policy context of personalisation and prevention set out in Putting People First.
