The NCOD is the largest database of its kind in the world. It has been established as part of the Government’s programme to tackle the continuing rise in obesity, and specifically obesity in children. This report summarises the data available and provides high level analysis of the prevalence of overweight and obesity among the children measured in 2005/6. (DH - publications)
