This report is the third in a series of briefings reviewing changes
in commissioning public health in England, with a particular focus on
public health improvement. Based on in-depth interviews with a range of
professionals working in public health and associated fields, it
provides an update on health improvement commissioning as public health
moves into local authorities, while also identifying key opportunities
and challenges that arise as a result of the transition.
