This document outlines the rationale for restructuring the way in
which urological cancer services are delivered across North East and
North Central London and West Essex. It argues for the creation of
single specialist centres and high quality local units which will
provide patients with high quality diagnostic and therapeutic care and
expand opportunities to develop research that benefits patients.
