This consultation seeks views and comments on the 32 CCG outcomes
indicators which cover a broad range of topics, including chronic heart
failure, cancer and hip fracture. The indicators are part of the NHS
Commissioning Board's systematic approach to promoting quality
improvement. Its aim is to support CCGs and health and wellbeing
partners in improving health outcomes. It will do this by providing
comparative information on the quality of health services commissioned
by CCGs and the associated health outcomes - and to support transparency
and accountability by making this information available to patients and
the public. The consultation closes on 1st March 2013.
