The Department of Health has put out a call for expressions of
interest for a share of £50 million of capital funding to invest during
2013-14. The funding will support new and innovative projects to improve
energy efficiency, reduce carbon emissions and increase resilience to
climate change as set out in the NHS Carbon Reduction Strategy for England.
Successful projects will begin from 2013 and will be subject to
national evaluation. Initial expression of interest bids must be
submitted by 28th February 2013.
