This report provides a detailed analysis of more than 75,000 responses to a national consultation. During the consultation respondents were asked to share their views on the key principles of the review: four configuration options which would pool surgical expertise into fewer larger centres, the development of congenital heart networks to bring care closer to home and new national quality standards. The report demonstrates strong support for the key principles of the review and nine out of ten support the proposed national quality standards.
